Kissa anko featuring dj mari

Saturday 29th of November 2025, 18:00-21:00

Join us for a special Jazz Kissa evening!

Originating in post-war Japan, Jazz Kissa (jazz cafés) are intimate spaces dedicated to listening. These venues became cultural hubs in the 1960s and ’70s, offering music lovers the rare chance to hear imported jazz records that were often too expensive for individuals to own.
In traditional Jazz Kissa style, the master—often the owner—curates and plays the records. For our event, we’re thrilled to welcome @marinx611 , (please see Mari’s bio below) who will be selecting music from her extensive vinyl collection. It will be a truly special listening experience—don’t miss it!
From AN&CO, we’ll be serving a menu inspired by classic Jazz Kissa, including An butter toast, cakes, sandwiches, coffee, and tea.
See you there!!

Tuesday 24th June 2025 7:30am - 8:30am & 18:00 - 19:00

Mildred's classes offer a slow yet powerful flow, emphasizing precise alignment and a profound connection to the breath. Her teachings integrate visualization techniques and honour the traditions of yoga, guiding students to deepen their mind-body connection.

Mildred has been practicing yoga since 2006, and it’s been a steady anchor for her through life’s ups and downs.
