Hello - we’re Hana and Miki, the founders of Alma + Margo, a space shaped by the things we love: craft, culture, and quiet creativity.
Hana is a stylist with over twenty years of experience in Tokyo and London. She approaches hair as something alive and expressive, shaped by precision, intuition, and care. Beyond the salon she is a trained kimono dresser and Japanese tea ceremony specialist, practices that continue to inform the calm, attentive atmosphere we try to create.
Miki is an artist, musician, and Creative Director at Alma + Margo. His background spans painting, music, and years as a studio assistant and exhibition manager for an internationally recognised artist, installing work in museums and galleries around the globe. His eye for character, tone, and visual storytelling helps shape the identity of our spaces and the experiences within them.
Together, we wanted to build a place where hair, art, and community meet naturally.
At Tabernacle Street, that vision grew into a hair studio, yoga haven, and home for workshops, exhibitions, and gatherings. Our second space on Stukeley Street continues the same spirit — a calm, light-filled, welcoming corner in the middle of the city.
